The reason for this was because I took a picture with the one and only legendary Toronto Blue Jay Joe Carter and my friend who took the picture with my Torch took the picture portrait as opposed to landscape (see below). Last night, however, when I was at the BlackBerry OS 7 launch party aka #BB7FanNight I was forced to open the official Twitter for BlackBerry app on my phone when I wanted to tweet a picture. Even when BlackBerry and Twitter put a Beta Version of the new official Twitter for BlackBerry app in the BlackBerry Beta Zone I still didn’t even uninstall UberSocial when I decided to give the beta a test run – and then promptly uninstalled the beta because it didnt deliver as promised. The end result of that weekend was as soon as UberTwitter came back under the new name UberSocial I was back on it as fast as possible. When what was then called UberTwitter was blocked by Twitter from accessing the API and being used on Twitter for a couple of days I blogged about it and during that weekend went through pretty much every Twitter app for BlackBerry I could get my hands on to find a worth replacement/successor to UberTwitter. A bunch of months back I never dreamed I would be writing this post.
